    Hello All,

today I attempted to remove and paint the steering wheel controls. Everything went great up until the reinstall. The top of the housing does not seem to go all the way into the steering wheel, and the controls on both sides are so mushy that they barely work. Has anybody else attempted something similar and run into this issue?? Any suggestions appreciated

Lmao worst case scenario I have to replace the controls. This gap at the top is clearly the issue, but I whenever the bottom of the piece pops into place the top comes out. What gives?

If you disassembled the controls to paint I’d recheck how you reassembled
