Steering wheel locked up

3 times recently I've gone to start my truck in the morning and everything is dead, the brake is solid and the steering wheel locked. I can't even shift it into gear to try and move it. This morning was the same. I waited, managed to move the steering some then it started. It also seems to idle slower for a while after this occurs.

 

Are you able to turn the key? If not wiggle the steering wheel and try again. Should unlock the steering wheel and start the truck.

 

Are you moving your steering wheel after the truck is turned off or do you have children around who play in the truck? That’s sounds like someone is doing something to the truck after it’s been turned off.

 

Yes the key turns fine but no lights display and it doesn't start
