    As OP noted, I’d be wary of what happens to the add-on logo during an airbag deployment. That added piece will fly/shatter somewhere.

    From photos I’ve seen of the OEM emblems, they don’t detach from the steering wheel cover when the airbag deploys. If they did, that’s a fast moving projectile inside the car that no auto manufacturer’s legal team would want a part of.
