    OP, on a serious note as I do feel the need to contribute something here, but if it is intrusive to your driving, you could pull the saftey cars at the dealer? But they might still deem it a non issue within manufacturing tolerance...

    Thanks. I'll probably at may pull the safety card on the alignment. That's an easy one to argue. As for the steering wheel, I might just go look at a few Tacomas at another dealer and see how they compare. If most of the others are the same, I won't worry about it and just live with three lump. I normally wouldn't care on just about anything else, but this is a case of "once you notice it, you never don't notice it again".

    And I think the erection did last for me that four hours, but that's just because it's a damn nice looking truck!

    Good plan. I bet you’ll see a range of stitching quality on the other steering wheels you look at. Sometimes the material gets pulled tighter than other times. I get what you’re saying but I think little things like this are the cost of mass production. It’s a bummer you can’t easily fix it yourself like the poorly aligned bumpers. Good luck.
