    That is pure sex.

Sex way beyond my budget however...and rare as unicorn tears.

I really want an OEM plug and play improvement, but I am finding that its not as simple as it was on my CC. See below for why my expectations were so high. The VW plug and play solution was $750 and it took me an hour to install. Granted, I didn't gain any more functionality from an electronic standpoint, but the steering wheel itself is much better. It allows for a better feel of whats going on with the tires-to-road, it fits the hands better and it looks better. Just plain winning.

I want a Toyota solution like this!!!

CC wheel swapped with the Golf R wheel.

As others have mentioned, the VAG wheels are so intuitive and the buttons work like you want them to.

Nailed it. Thanks for all the replies guys - after all the searching I had done both on here and google I was starting to think I was the only one obsessed with this and clearly, I'm not. That GTI wheel is one of my all time favorites...my good friend has one in his 2010 Autobahn GTI...first thing you notice when you sit in the car.."my goodness this wheel feels like it has a purpose!" :D

The same shit everyone else has.
I dig the .:R wheel swap.

In my girlfriends MK4 Jetta, we went the opposite route and installed a Nardi Torino wheel that was made in '78.

I loved my GLI wheel, just like the R one.

Best wheel I have ever felt, makes such a difference in the driving feel.

All in, about 150$. I paid 30$ for the wheel and then 100 or so for the airbag. I've since learned though that the Camry wheel is a direct fit and works with the clock spring so I'm looking to go that route next. I'll sell you my setup if you're interested? The Camry upgrade is about 3x more expensive - yikes!

    Ok, so new update.
After catching someone in the classifieds selling a three spoke wheel from a Camry I found that they will work as well, along with no clock spring mods and I can integrate steering wheel audio controls. Only problem was his asking price was absurd. I just won a bid on one from eBay for less than the price of the airbag I bought for the Rav4 wheel. Will update with pics when it comes in.
