Steering wheel shake after balancing SCS wheels

-12 is not the issue. If they were -38 maybe.

 

So they rotated the tires 180 and re-balanced with road force ... same issue.

One tech said 'if this doesn't work, it could be something else on the truck'. Another tech said 'if this doesn't work, we can try to get you into a different tire'.

Is there something else I can look for? I'm tempted to ask for new tires, mine are certified.

 

okay going to sound dumb, have them remove the tires, and "spin" the wheels on the balancer. I've seen a bent rim out of the box, I've also seen one wheel need a ton of weight. without the tires

 

Is there anyone local who can swap tires with you? Or do you have a full size spare? At this point you need to rule out something on the truck or isolate the issue to a specific wheel/tire combo.

If I was in your shoes my next move would be meet up with a member, temporarily swap wheels/ tires and prove that the issue goes away. If it does, then just move two back over and see if it comes back until you are sure if it's the truck, a single wheel/tire combo or a single wheel/ tire.
