Thats something I wanted to do any way . I guess I will move it up the list to like next . Thanks for mentioning it as all I have ever heard was it would cause a vibration. Cheap enough to do to be sure. Sounds logical as it never did it till I put the Foxes on.

I did the ECG bushing earlier today and it seem to have positive effects so far . Its funny 4hi made no difference to the funny sound I was getting and no effect to the slight shimmy on rough roads. I took it for a short ride and rough road didn't seem to effect it like before so it made an improvement. The truck still has a slight sound like I have an out of round super swamper on it as it did with the last set of tires so I rule out tires. maybe a wheel bearing. I used to feel a slight clunk when pulling from the apron to the garage floor which is now gone. So far so good just want to get rid of the out of balance super swamper sound next. Passenger side CV has as much play as the drivers side did , maybe something to that. Thanks for posting your experience with the bushing as no one else seem to have similar results that I could find.

EDIT: after driving it a bit more I guess if it made a difference it was not much . Only thing I notice different is the fore mentioned slight clunk I could just barely feel entering the garage is still gone. cant wait for the gear oil smell to go away . I sprayed parts cleaner all over before I put the tires back on .

Where can this ECG bushing be purchased from? What's involved in replacing it?
I'm at the end of the rope with my shaking issues.

    Thanks,
I just had the frame swap done back in September, I should of had it done then !
The vibrations actually got worse even with new rack bushings, axles, and wheel bearings
Well at least everything should come apart easy.

I can’t guarantee that the bushing will fix your steering wheel shake, but I do know that mine quit doing it after I replaced the ECGS bushing. I torqued everything to spec when I put it back together, it’s possible there was something loose that was causing it and it had nothing to do with the bushing at all. Replacing the bushing is worth a try though, especially if you can install it yourself.

I checked the driver's side axle and there is alot of movement at the differential compared to the passenger side.
I've been dealing with this vibration problem for too long and never even thought it could be a bad differential bearing causing it.
I'm going to take it apart today and order some parts!

I get the steering wheel shakes after my truck has been sitting over night. I attribute it to a flat spot in the tires (Iron man all country tires). After a few miles the tires heats up and the flat spot smooths out and the steering wheel shake dissipates.
I do not know if its just inexpensive tires or air pressure (34 psi). Just thought I would through that out to you as a possibility.

All tires do it if they sit long enough . Lower air pressure makes bigger flat spots . Only till they heat up and all is usually good then

How many miles you got? That sounds like you might need to look at the CV axle itself.

Yeah the wheels/tires balance is particular finicky on these trucks. I had a set of tires that I could not completely get rid of the slight shake I was so glad they finally wore out.
