    Hello All,

Im having a few issues with my truck.

    1) When I brake my steering wheel shakes (new pads & rotors approx. 4 months ago)

    2) When I brake, I feel the brakes pulsating.. No smooth stopping. It feels as if the brakes are grabbing and releasing really fast. And that under regular stopping.

    3) When Im stopped (stop sign, light, etc) my truck sometimes seems/ feels to lurch forward.

Please help & thank you in advance.

NOTE: 1st truck Ive ever owned.

Have you had an alignment lately? Are your tires showing uneven wear? Did you purchase new tires recently? Lots of questions to ask. Who performed the brake job? What material pads were used on the replacements? Are the rotors factory or aftermarket? If aftermarket, are they high iron/Euro market rotors? Again, lots of questions need answers...

Alignment or tire balance are usually the biggest cause.

The truck lurching forward sounds like your ac compressor kicking in to me. It's normal for all of us. Have you checked the drums?

#1 & 2: Probably a warped (or otherwise imperfect) rotor. Did the pulsing problem start after you had the brakes done?

Jack up the font of the truck and spin the tires by hand, you will probably be able to feel the spot where it is binding.

#3: sounds like AC compressor surge as others stated. Check by turning the AC and defrost modes off. It should stop.

First, I'd like to apologize for this late response.
Second, Thank you all for your input.

New tires & alignment stopped the steering wheel shakes, but still having the problem with pulsating brakes.

    Okay, on the lurching forward.
