steering wheel shaking after lift

    I put a 3 in lift in the front and 2in lift in the rear. Put the diff drop in the front by the skid plate. Whole truck shakes and steering wheel shakes around 30 mph. Got tires balanced after. Now it shakes around 45 to 60. Saw some vids on dropping the carrier bearing a qtr inch as i did. Seemed to help the rear but steering wheel still shakes back and fourth. Any suggestions on my 2013 taco thanks

    The shaking is because the wheels aren't seated properly on the hub. Loosen the lugs and tighten them to spec by hand, not with an impact wrench. Your steering wheel will stop shaking. I have to do this every time I go to the tire shop.

    At Discount Tire, I tell them hand tools only, and no longer have a problem. Maybe an option for you?

    If its not your lug nuts... You most likely need aftermarket UCA's. Your alignment is probly maxed out caused by your lift.

    I get a discount at the tire shop and they're really good to me. I don't mind taking ten minutes to take care of it when I get home.
