    Hi!!
I have a 2018 Tacoma trd off road with a leveling kit ( 3in in the front and 2 in the rear). I have done loads of research on how to get rid of the vibration after the lift and can’t seem to eliminate it. It is driving me crazy and I need help! I have done the driveline drop kit( old man emu). As well as the infamous ecgs bushing install by a reputable shop. As well as multiple alignments. None of this has fixed it and it happens at exactly 20-25 mph and in any other speed range is perfectly smooth. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you !

Can’t help you with your issue, but the ECGS bushing is the exact opposite of “infamous”.

You don't mention any tire balancing exercises.

Steering wheel is front tire. Rotate them to the rear and see if the vibration moves to your seat.

You could have a flawed tire as well, which could be warrantied if it meets the rules for such.

A 2/3 is not leveling its a lift. As for vibration, you have ko2s by any chance? Like Bill said, balancing first (road force balanced) if that doesn't solve it then ecgs bearing install is probably a good idea.

He stated he did the ECGS bushing already. I say a shim for a 2 inch rear block.

I do not have ko2’s on my vehicle. Stock 2018 tires and wheels. I will try switching the front tires to the rear and see if that has any affect thank you for the suggestions! This is bothering me so much I got to figure it out.

Have you checked the drive shaft to pinion gear angles? A 2" back calls for a angle wedge.

If it's stock wheels and tires and it did it after lift installed, sounds like the lift caused it.

Maybe check and recheck all the tightness/torque specs of all your bolts that where involved with your lift kit? And this might sound dumb but is it possible the 2” lift in the rear was installed backwards? Possibly there already shimmed and where installed the wrong way!

I understand that you did a diff drop but was that front and rear? If not looks a front diff drop, but I'm betting on a shim. Are your rear blocks tappered?

Wheels and tires balanced and rotated today. Helped the shaking slightly but it is still pretty rough. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated before I go to Toyota next weekend

Did you determine if it disappears in four wheel drive? What kind of lift did you install?

Yes it is still present in 4wd. It was a “ rough country leveling kit”

Does it change at all if you shift to neutral at that speed range? I'm wondering about the rear drive shaft/ u-joints. If four wheel drive doesn't change it that may eliminate front cvs/ axels. I have noticed rear u joint problems vibrating the rear view mirror too.

No. I have heard a lot of mixed opinions on that. Do you think I should install that before taking the vehicle to the dealership and have them check it out?
