Well I rebuilt my brackets to lower my 4" Pro Traxx yesterday by 2". Paint tomorrow then remount after they dry. I think this will be much better, most nerf bars im seeing look good but aren't functional as they are to high. The stock brackets were powder coated but they were already showing rust from it chipping off.

Just put these on today. ICI magnums without the magnum branding on each step. The older version (Non branded) should be here this week.image.jpg

If you plan on doing some offroading. You may wanna looking into Sliders vs Steps. It will serve 2 purpose. As steps, and protection (insurance)

I wanted to get some nice looking Nerf Bars and after looking decided on Ionic 5 inch curved. These installed pretty easily. Just take the plugs out of the bottom of your truck, then bolt on the mounts but not too tightly, put on the steps and tighten them down. Result is a better looking truck. I enjoy them! I'm pretty sure all steps are like that. My 2000 4Runner with OEM running boards and my 2017 Tacoma with Lund oval nerf bars are the same. If you don't use the step when exiting, the back of your leg slides across it. Always the cleanest part of my truck, thanks to my pant leg!!!

Ordered them a couple weeks ago but if you'll notice, delivery time is 1 to 2 months. Price was around 289.99 and once it dropped, the delivery time drastically increased. I can update you when I get them on but it seems all the reviews are great. If you are looking for weld on quality rock climbers, keep looking, but for this price, I'd say it's a win.

I have the 2nd gen OEM running board. I like how they look but as for function they are ok. Sits at the same height as base of the truck.

I put these on today. My son has a tough time climbing in and out. I picked them up for $200 on eBay.
