I've been debating between steps and the sliders. I traded my 2010 Tundra for the Taco, and am still getting used to the difference in size. I had the nice Toyota 5" flat steel steps for my lifted Tundra and they were great. But the Taco is so much smaller, and even with a moderate lift, the dimensions are very different. I don't think a side step would really work, and would more than likely just be a good way to get dirt on your pants. I also miss the grab handle the Gen 2 Tundra's had. Anyone have steps that work really well ~ as a step?

I have the Predator steps. They work very well for stepping up/in the cab. They work a little less well stepping out but I do use them for both in and out. I found a Tacoma with them installed at a local dealer to test before ordering. I'd buy again. I'm 5'10 if that matters.

Thanks 2017. They do look nice. Do you do any off-roading? I do a little, but no gnarly rock crawling. I'm wondering if that style step would get caught on things. But the drop makes them much more functional as a step.

I don't go off road more than gravel really. I've read on here about people with Predator steps damaging them off road. I could see that happening. But for me they work well and I like the drop step for function better than a tube step that is nearly floor height.

Just about even with the tires or flaps? A pic from behind looking down the side would be awesome. I know it's a pain, but your help IS appreciated.
I saw these on your earlier post. In this pic, it looks like the boards are about 1” - 1.5" from the edge of the mudflap. But you said that they're about even. Is the pic a little deceiving, I guess??

So I went through the 8 pages, and didn't see any, does anyone have a DCLB that the nerf bars/running boards go the full length wheel well-to-wheel well?

I had my mind set on the predator steps but this made me think twice. I like how they fit. Do they cover the under liners?

Also, did it solve the issue you were having with stuff flying to your lower paint?

Looks good. I ordered mine on Friday, should be here by the end of next week.
At one point, the expected ship time for these was 1-2 months. Once they came in stock, I jumped on them. I really wanted bolt on sliders but chickened out (price). These will do for now.

Bumper, Winch, 315s, Sliders, OME HD lift, Custom rear swingout, roof rack, drawers, way too much to list.
ICI has some, they're just like the regular ones except for they are longer and have a 3rd step. Magnumtruckgear.com has them or I can get them for you at the same price.

I was really looking for something that hugged the body more and didn't stick out so far. These fit perfect. They are heavy.. each one is around 40lbs I think. Help prevent door dings too.
