No, but thank you. I just try to keep it clean, but not scratch it. I've only waxed it once in 2 years though.

I can say from experience, that the $7-800+ sliders are great but way over built for most practical needs. I have been running a set of $300ish Trail gear sliders that are still 1 3/4" DOM for years through pretty rough terrain and smashed them many times and they hold up just fine. But if you are going for looks, these might not be the best because they are a very basic design. If you want the fillers, you'll still be looking at the $700+ range. Food for thought.

The difference between $300 sliders and $700 sliders is often the construction of the mounts. For the money, you get ones that are capable of supporting the weight of the truck completely. It's up to you whether that is worth the price difference.

I admit I have not read all the posts in this thread but I’m not seeing any mention of MobTown sliders. Take it from me if you want the best sliders on the market you need to check these guys out. Their sliders have saved my ass on some pretty narly trails. The key to these is the way they engineered how they bolt on to the truck. (They do have them are weld ups). Check them out you won’t be sorry

I gotta know.. What suspension did you add to it, how much is the lift, and which tires are those? Might swap out my bilsteins and trade for some 4runner pro wheels myself.

I paid around $650 with taxes but that was before the tariffs affected the DOM prices. We also didn't pay for delivery since my wife was going up to Riverside for work fairly regularly. I know they also give a small tacomaworld discount if you contact them via dm but I didn't know about that at the time.

No. Steps mount to the body, sliders mount to the frame in order to protect the body. That’s the big difference between the two.

I went with Tyger step bars. If I ever choose to get into off-roading, I’ll put the cash down for sliders.
