    A thing or two...
You're doing something wrong if you're spending $1000 on sliders.

This is what I did before I had sliders. Even with sliders, opening the door and standing on the slider gives a more stable position than just standing on the door sill.

Excellent points. Just the chance of leaving it on the wheel and driving off removes it from consideration for me.

I use my sliders, the bed protectors on my rear bumper, the tires, or the tailgate with the glass on the shell closed depending on what part of the roof I need access to.

I bought these for my buddy about a year ago to help him get in the basket of his Subi and he's over 200 lbs and has not had any issues :notsure:

It's a mental thing for me I guess. Plus I have sliders that will lift my truck let alone hold me, so I can't say I really have a need.

No I was not drunk but if you think that is the only reason someone would fall then you have a bad idea about people. Sound like that is a reason for your failures not mine.

I guess my sarcasm did not translate well, of course I was joking. I’m not sure why there are so many people on this forum that get defensive and want to argue. Gets more like Facebook for men everyday.

Keep calm and have a great holiday season my friend. Take it easy on the egg nog while stepping up more than 12” off the ground.

If you did not insult people they would not take offense to your postings. When someone accuses me of drinking to the point I might injure myself I will not keep calm. So you then try to say that I am drinking "egg nog" to the point I can not stand off the ground. Follow your own advice and get help. I did not want to argue but I will defend myself from baseless uniformed accusations which are the reason it looks like Facebook. By the way I might even be a recovering Alcoholic but apparently you do not care just continue to accuse.

Once again, I was speaking in jest and in no way was I personally attacking you or your character.

I am glad that you are in recovery and I hope that you continue to be. I did not know that you were in recovery when I made the comment, so my attempt at humor unwittingly landed on the completely wrong person. It makes more sense to me now that you were defensive about my comment.

I assure you, had I known I would not have said anything of the sort. I appreciate your thoughtfulness in directing me to help. The part of my comment about myself was another failed attempt at self-depreciating humor. Luckily, I was never plagued by the disease and I do not partake at all.

I mean it, good luck to you and pay no mind to me.

Any if you have those door sill plates the one member sells?

Do they create a larger platform to stand on? Kinda worried I’m gonna crush my plastic molding one of these times.

You said “might” be an alcoholic, so since you took what I said personally I could understand your reaction. If you are not, then your thin skin is the issue, not my comprehension.
