Steps that aren't in the way

Real bad when you drop them on the boxes ends the only take so much abuse until the bust through the box, wrapping, and bubble wrap! Also the second set sent was in the same condition and all I can say is UPS does not care about there customers products.

 

Avid bolt on sliders wouldn't do any hard wheeling with these but very solid.

I dont get these step bar things, Is it really that hard to get in this truck, looks like a health hazard to me. Hate to bust my shin on it.

 

If you have a short wife or girlfriend they will use them, plus they give you a little side protection from car doors and other obstacles.

 

I have small children that's why I need them!

 

I have the nfab steps and shorter passengers love them getting into the truck. Getting out is okay...just takes a few times to get the coordination down to step out.

I'm 5'11 and use it to save wear and tear on the seat bolster as I slide into them without using the step. Occasionally I bypass the step and get in as if I don't have them. Getting out I never use them and never rub my legs against them. I mostly just liked the appearence.

 

I've always tried to find the Sidewinder steps. They went out of business probably 8 years ago or so but you can still occasionally find unused ones on eBay and they usually go for 250-300 a set.
