Hey, all of us can't be young and limber forever. My wife and I are getting to the point that we could use some steps that actually function as steps. Most I've seen are too damn close to the body to get your toes in between, so act more as sliders than steps.

Does anyone make any extention brackets so I can reuse my originals? All I need is a couple of extra inches drop to get the bars away from the body for them to be useful.

That's been a problem for a long time now. Maybe somebody actually does make some that are worth paying for, when I had some steps at the time I didn't see anything but now, it's possible.

I can get (and did) nerf bars for my GMC that are actually useful as steps. Why are all the Taco options so close to the body that they are practically just extensions of the paint?

And of course exactly what would work. Day late and a dollar short... again.

I'd actually like to get some blocks that are two inches. I may have to make them.

Thanks though... at least I know someone else needed them and it's not a crazy idea.
