I’m an old returning member as well so I guess I’m a newbie. I’m picking up a 2001 Tacoma this week and the shifter is loose. There is a pretty easy fix where you replace the bushing. Search this website or YouTube and you’ll find videos on how to make the repair. Good luck!

Here’s a head scratcher for my sidesteppers..

I purchased a used 02 Tacoma step side and my fenders have this rubber gasket that is dry rotted and crumbling out.. Anyone replace this recently and if so, what product did you use?

 

Just did all 4 of mine looks great


Looks just like original and is of quality material.

 

You need the blue and red clips also. They break when you remove the overfender
(Flare)

I know this is a shot in the dark:

I reached out to Soft Topper and they no longer make the soft top for our beloved stepsides.

I have a hard shell ARE topper in really great shape that I found a few years back. Does anyone have a black soft topper in California that would want to trade tops?
