Last week I was driving home from class. I was searching through my presets because all that was on the radio was commercials (weird) and all of a sudden my radio decided to quit on me. It didnt die completely, but it basically put itself in the "off" position permanently, so far. None off the buttons work or beep and all the radio does now is display the time. Any ideas? The deck I have is a Pioneer Super Tuner IIID DEH-P6700MP.

only thing i can think is it maybe went into "protect" mode ... your manual will have more info, i had a kenwood that used to do something similar and i had to pull it out, unplug it, yank the fuse

put everything back together and it was fine

So, i disconnected the battery and reconnected everything. Now the radio is stuck in demo mode. It says to press button 6 to exit demo or or button 5 for reverse. But none of the buttons even work, not even holding down the off button and there is no sound. Suggestions?

Reseat the removable face plate if you have one.

No, you just need to find out where/why it's not there. It could be a crappy connection to/in your wiring harness or a blown fuse.
