Hi everyone, I have a 2014 and increasingly, when it rains and is very humid the stereo is totally unresponsive. In other words if I try to change a song or the station, it does nothing. Has anyone experienced this or have any Ideas? Clearly it’s some sort of electrical issue related to humidity.

    Thank you!

Since OP didn't tell us which stereo it is, let's assume a stereo model and just go down that path

yeah not a bad idea. I just worry the issue is upstream. The steering wheel also does not work when trying to advance songs, etc. I think it could possibly be related to inside humidity.. due to relative humidity increasing.. when it rains you get wet, and the car fogs up inside..

Where do you live where it’s that humid - Florida, or maybe a pineapple under the sea? If the steering wheel controls also don’t work at the same time then it could be the stock head unit (which I agree with others kinda sucks) or maybe the connections. Pull the head unit out and check connections or for any corrosion/rust, who knows maybe there’s something funky going on there and it’s easy to check.

Sounds like you have other issues like a water leak.
