    They did not thankfully.
That’s my honest no.1 fear though, when offroad.
I know the tentative limits of what the truck can safely do in its current stage, without a cage. Airbags deploying in a small collision or even a harder bottom out keeps me in check.
Next summer a weekend warrior cage and stripping the airbag system is the first priority.

Alright, time for the usual tri-monthly update:

Realized the center bearing on the driveline was sloppy as hell, so I dropped the truck off with Drivelines Inc. south OC. I highly recommend Wayne and his team. They had it done super fast and at a great price.
    IMG_0268.jpg

    They did:
    1. Replaced the center bearing
    2. Replaced all 4 U-joints
    3. Added a slip yolk to the rear section
    4. Balanced the whole driveshaft
Then a fun trip out to Barstow south with coworkers, mostly driving SxS, Polaris RZRs, Can-Ams, and very impressed with the Kawasaki Teryx KRX.
    DEEBD248-F13C-4C73-8D4E-44FD1BB43F49.jpg

On the way out, after almost not driving the truck all day, I got a little rowdy with my coworkers and had a misfortunate mistake:
Coworker in the black GMC got a flat, swerved, and I had no choice but to run out of skill.
The rear driver side of my truck smacked a bush (no damage) sending it into a hard exit stage left -- through a bush and almost over a 3' rain rut.

    https://youtu.be/n17VfjQqjfw

    Damage report:
A busted wheel and ruined tire due to sidewall heat + blew off the fiberglass passenger bumper cap + actually cracked the pass. LCA arm near the rear frame mount
Slapped the spare tire on and limped home with atrocious alignment.

Last month, I had a buddy who worked on my truck before, do some much-needed work.

    • Install Camburg Bypass hoops
    • Install TC UCA Tower Gussets
    • Relocate Batter to the frame rail
    • Blue Sea Battery Kill switch
    • Install Energy suspension Poly core support bushings
    • Rework/bend/weld/cut/and massage the whole front core support so it wasn't a floppy Frankenstein of oem sheet metal and tubes.

Remounted the OEM fuse box along with:
    • Oil catch can
    • SPOD Mini 6
    • Supercharger Coolant Reservoir
We were originally going to replace the front core support with a rockauto replacement, but after some bracing and the Energy suspension bushings, stuff was solid enough. Going full tube or making the new core support fit in would have been more money than its worth right now.

Maybe when the truck gets caged, it'll all be redone anyhow.

You have a lot of faith in that all-thread holding your battery. I’d seriously look into something else to hold your battery at that angle. All-thread is notoriously soft. If you took off what you have there my bet is you can bend and break it by hand.

Got a Flexpod mount as well as SpeedHut Boost & AFR gauges from a member on here.
Wired up to an add-a-fuse from the inside dash panel and hooked up the the S/C boost port.
The AFR gauge I drilled into my cat-back right after the connection of the y-pipe.
This is a bit far away, but leaves the option to change y-pipes and since I only have one sensor it picks up both banks.

    CDB23069-EE26-4910-B627-5AC3A4ABA9F2.jpg

Boost is around -21psi at idle and deceleration. Usually -5 to 0psi when cruising and light throttle. Full boost is as high as 7.5psi with full throttle & higher load.

AFR around 14.4-14.9 most of the time. Goes up to 18 obviously when on deceleration. WOT is maybe as low as 10.x? Definitely around 11.

Mm it seemed fine at the time.
Would a long bolt be better?
Or should I re-fab the bracket to work with a small bolt

Out of curiosity are you gonna make a skid plate for it or anything to protect it from rocks?
