    OKAY! Here you go...

Started on the suspension project. Since I've started up school again and am still working 50 or so hours a week, it hasn't left much time for the truck. I did a quick wash then started on the front suspension. I knew I wouldn't get it all done tonight, but I wanted to get started on disassembling everything. I am borrowing a couple of tools tomorrow to finish the job... so I went as far as I could. On to the pics...

Quick wash and backed into the garage:

    First off, measure!

For now, I am just leveling the truck out, so I have an inch to go up in the front to make it level... so I'll shoot for 1.5" to make it look good.

    The goods:

Took a moment to toss some degreaser on the front wheels while they were off... mmmmmm... shiny!

    Everything unbolted:

    Cleeeeeeeean...

That's where I ended for tonight. I will finish up tomorrow.... then tires will be here next week! I am going for an OEM+ look, so I am sticking with the stock wheels for now and just going with a slightly larger and more capable tire.

Thanks! I can't wait either. I'm going to ASU, finishing my undergrad in Marketing and Urban Planning. Then I am headed straight into a Marketing Masters program... unless I change my mind.

    Thanks!

You know it! Since I'm pissed that I forgot about the dinner tonight, I am ordering tires right now. BFG A/T 265/75/16s... gotta love having a Tirerack Wholesale Account. :)

Now I just need a spare wheel to go with the 5th tire I'm ordering...

Probably shouldn't have said that out loud. It's through the company as we work on cars every once in awhile... ;)

Any chance EVOMS wants to tune my car? I still need to install/ tune the URD MAF Calibrator. Of all places, I'd rather take it to you guys than anyone else. I have the CD with the software.

I'll chat with the guys on Tuesday and see if it is something they would consider.

Further update on the suspension install. I got everything in and boy is that a fun job to do all by yourself! Good thing I have air plumbed in the garage. Made the ball joint removal and mono-ball install a snap. I did have a noob moment and dropped the ball-joint press and punched a hole in my CV boot... FAWK! Now I have a new project to tackle this week. Oh well... good excuse to order the diff-drop kit and depending on how I feel I might order the rear suspension goodies. :D
