So when I say black magic, I meant literally. I go to leave the shop, and the guy asks me how much I'm gonna sell the tires for. I tell him $400. He starts pouring some stuff in a bucket, and tells me to wipe the tires down with it and they'll look brand new. I ask him what it is, and he chuckles saying "I can't tell you that amigo."

Once I get home, I don some shitty clothes, grab an old rag and some gloves and apprehensively try this stuff out. HOLY SHIT WHAT IS IN IT. So far the only ingredient I can tell for sure is some black paint. Not a lot, but enough. Unreal how well this works. The place I went to sells used tires, so it makes sense for them to have something like this.

This is a before and after. HOLY CRAP, RIGHT?!

None yet, but I was driving super cautiously as to not spill the bucket of mystery.

Hey now! She was actually very impressed, as was I. When I returned the bucket to the dude, he just chuckled some more. He was also nice enough to take the spare tire and chuck it for me.

As of now, nope! That's a huge perk of the 255 on stock wheels. I'm going to wheel on Saturday and if I rub, I'll cut the cab mount.

So when I bought the truck, I put it in 4HI and 4LO and it engaged, but I didn't hear a clunk like I did in my last truck. Today I decided to double check juuuuust in case. Put it in 4HI, jacked up the front end, and spun one wheel. The other started spinning the opposite way, so we're good!!

Decided to do a little driveway flexing too! Coulda gone higher but started getting sketched out.

It's mighty close! I know as soon as I hit a bump while turning, it's rubbing. I'm going to undo some front clips and shove the fender back and ziptie it out of the way.

Let me know how it goes! Thinking about 255/85s if my 265/75s look too small once I pull the trigger on my 885/5100 setup. Just didn't want to do any cutting if I didn't have to and too I've always like the look of a tall and skinny!

Sweet and simple! I like it! Those tires look to be the perfect size for that amount. You have 885s?
