this picture was about a year ago. Many changes since. A long long time ago, I started with 885s/OME Nitrochargers and Dakars.

    This is today:

I have absolutely no idea!! Stewie clunked damn near every time though. I wasn't worried about it, and assumed it was normal.

Routed a lock cable down through the frame, and it's got a pretty stout lock on there. Fingers crossed no one steals them!! I have no more storage in my garage since some snow tires are taking up the only available space. Luckily they'll only be in the bed for a week until we move, and I can leave them at the house.

Time to go old school and put a For Sale sign on those puppies. You will be advertising while driving.

Not really sure, but he did show me and there was crap on the bead of the wheel and on the old tires. Maybe oxidized is a better word?

So any hits on the tires? We gotta get rid of these asap and free up some capital for the next round of mods. $400 could get us a suspension upgrade :D

No, not yet :annoyed: I want these things gone! As well as my snow tires! Had a successful day working on the truck again. I'll post a bunch of pics later.

Today I was finally able to get up to highway speeds, and learned that the place that did my tires did a shit job balancing them, and above 60mph the truck starts shaking. Going to have to get them rebalanced tomorrow, but don't trust them to touch my truck again.

Also got a good bit of stuff done today in preparation for the maiden voyage on Saturday.

Installed CB radio. Antenna comes tomorrow

This is behind the passenger kick panel, and where I grounded my last CB with no issues.
    IMG_0924.jpg

This little thing is so damn handy.
    IMG_0926.jpg

Going to fab up a mount for the mic tomorrow if I have time.
    IMG_0936.jpg
Shoved fender liners forward to create additional clearance. All I did was remove the two bottom screws and one clip, and just zip tied them out of the way.
    IMG_0932.jpg
Did the anytime fog light mod, but a little differently. I didn't have a female spade connector, so I just soldered the wire directly to the relay. For the other side, I didn't have a wire tap capable of tapping a wire that small. I just stripped some wire back on my added fog wire, and shoved the copper strands into the green wire pin, and taped it up. Less intrusive, and still works!! Those are now my DRLs
    IMG_0929.jpg
    IMG_0931.jpg

Finished the passenger side for that RAM mount. These were such a PITA to get mounted, but glad I got it done.

Changed the transfer case fluid, which is the final maintenance that I needed to complete! Truck runs great. Except today the AC wasn't working for a bit then started back up fine, so hopefully that doesn't become a trend.

And now the story of how I could have gotten a plate bumper for free, but didn't. I'm driving back from @CaliDevilDoc's place after I buy a full sized spare from him, and I'm on the freeway in traffic. I'm crawling along, in a lane that another lane has to merge into.

Some DIPSHIT passes multiple cars on the shoulder, and tries to squeeze in in front of me. Aint happening pal. I lean on my horn, and be backs off, but is unsuccessful trying to merge back in behind me. This guy commits, and speeds up on the shoulder passing me, giving zero fucks, and just starts merging into my lane hoping I'll move. I'm thinking "Fuck this guy." and stand my ground and just lean on my horn. Apparently this wasn't enough to deter him, and he kept coming into my lane. I kept honking, but he kept coming. I really wanted to stand my ground but instincts wouldn't let me and I subconsciously slowly moved out of his way. If he would have hit me, I guarantee it would have been his fault and I could have gotten a check from his insurance for my front end damage.

I'm furious at this point, so I speed up next to him (luckily his window was down) and use some choice expletives to let him know that I was disappointed with him. He looked shameful, and we carried on our separate way. I need to get a second dash cam for my truck now....

Glad cooler heads prevailed and you didnt smash Stewie 2.0 into that fool. I would have been "disappointed" with the other driver as well.

There's a dash cam in my car that's worth its weight in gold!

Yeah seriously. Going to go to a place Ivan recommended tomorrow to get it straightened out.
