    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Hell ya, that's great news! Sounds like you made it out on your own power. With a doubler the brakes are only somewhat neccesary.

How was that off chamber ledge between Big Sluice and Green Bridge? That had to be a sketch feeling going down that one.

Yeah that one wasn’t as bad for me but definitely for two of the rigs in our group. One ended up getting a nice dent on the side of their roof. When I saw the pics later, I was surprised it didn’t get me as nervous. Probably because I was just tired and feeling hurried to get to camp.

I was just thinking how it must’ve been for you guys after that big hail storm. But you guys weren’t too far off from Buck Island.

The hail hit us when we were on Indian Trail. Wasn't too bad, though.

I appreciate it. I’m picking up my driveshaft in Reno this morning and putting on disc brakes conversion in the rear. Should be outta here this afternoon.

That’s awesome! Thanks for documenting that for posterity. It looks way different than the view from the cab.

That's the open area near Buck where it's choose your own adventure. There is no specific line.

and then some. My hangers took a bunch of direct hits. Adding them to the list of shit I need to fix before going out again.

the one that actually likes me is on the leash. We adopted the beagle in the spring after some one dropped her off by my work. Turned out she was pregnant and not just done whelping as I assumed. My bad and what a bs birthday trying to deliver pups. Super sad. The upside is I now have a great friend and no pups (we found forever homes for them).

    Hey Taco Fam,

Last minute shot at finding a camping ground that doesn't require reservation for Labor Day weekend. Any recommendations? I'm located in Berkeley. Thank you in advance.

Dispersed camping in a National Forest or BLM. That being said, go early, because it's going to be busy.

BLM or FS campgrounds that are FCFS will fill fast. Might start looking there.
