Did you ever determine the reason for the vibration. The vibration is not normal. I have a 2006 2.7L 4 cylinder and just started happening after repairs at the dealership in Dec 2022. Ran perfectly smooth before then, idled at 800 rpms, now ~ 650 rpms, vibration sounds just like yours.

I also have a 2006 2.7L 4 cylinder 4x4. That vibration is normal. I have had the vibration on my truck since I have owned mine starting back in Jan '08. No issues to date at 222k miles.

BTW....why the revival of such an old post?

I agree that some slight vibration is normal. Every manual I have ever driven with a floor shifter has had a vibration in the shifter in neutral with the engine running. The only ones that didn't are the manual with the shifter on the steering stalk.
