There is an adhesive sticker in the shape of a rectangle between the bottom of my two doors that’s on my rocker panel. Anyone know what this is for? Mines barely hanging on, is this something that’s needed?
Still new here so don’t know how to post pictures.

No idea what that's for. I doubt if it's needed since it been painted over. Glad you were able to post a picture.

I've got it too. I believe it's for abrasion protection or something like that. I'd clean up the surface and stick it back on with glue.

Thanks for the replies, yeah it’s actually not painted over. There is paint underneath it though. It’s a cutout of the protective film that’s over our rocker panels. Noticed it while I was Fluid filming them. Wondering why Toyota made a cutout there.

I went out and looked at the PS door sill and rocker panel on my access cab. There is a small clear protective patch pretty much in line where the rear 1/2 door and front door would meet. I also noticed that it lines up with the center of rear door latch. I'll look the DS after I pull the truck out of the garage.

It's just likely a wear point where your weather stripping would normally wear through the paint, causing rust. It's a protective film to keep that from happening. I'm sure you could buy sheets of the stuff on Amazon or something like that an cut the shapes you need.
Just degrease really well before you apply the new piece, if so desired.
