    Hello all. New to the forum. Just thought I would share my latest experience with my Tacoma.
    I have been looking for a fixed to my problem online and I’m surprised I did not come across it in this forum. I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma Trd off-road only owner. It came stock with the automatic tailgate lock and just recently when I would lock or unlock you could hear the actuator clicking but the tailgate would not unlock. After disassembly, I realized it just simply needed lubrication. I thought I would share what I did to fix it, maybe somebody else is having the same problem. Just simply needed greasing.
