I bet it's the bushings need a little grease.

Any thoughts on if that can be done without getting an alignment? I'm wondering if I mark things before disassembling if it'll be close enough.

I have the Total Chaos UCAs and have grease fittings. I plan on taking the wheel off, loosening the bolts and filling. Tightening everything up and wheel back on.

A 2.5 long travel is on my list so I'm hoping I can make these work for another 12-18 months. 109k miles on the stock lowers and 55k on the SPC uppers.

I greased my TC UCA's early last month. Seems to be much noisier now. Guy down the street rolls by and squeaks just like mine.

The fuel pump swap was probably not the best thing to do a few hours after an infusion but it was a good distraction from how I was feeling and I only had a couple gallons of fuel so the tank wasn't very heavy.

Definitely weaker/slower moving from low hemoglobin and my left arm was uncomfortable from the IV but I got it done in 5 hours. Happy I got it done and excited for the supercharger and long tube install next week.

Hosing off the top of the tank last week was a good call...very little crud up there falling in my face while I was working.

replaced TC uni-balls, and replaced spherical bearings where the coil-over connects with LCA. the OEM LCA use a bolt with a short shoulder. replacing the OEM bolt with a longer shouldered bolt, supports the two mis alignment spacers of the spherical bearing. certain these Coil-over spherical bearings and the worn mis-alignments were source of squeak at every movement. amazing quiet now.

Done with the developed camping portion of our trip. One night in a hotel for proper showers and a repack of the truck then we head to Olympic NP and will be back to disbursed camping for the rest of our trip. Here's a quick dump of some of the pics off my phone.

@theolee, I'd a M71 Blackbird...don't remember what the difference is but it's the fastest plane ever declassified.

Front row on the ferry this morning, a couple of quick hikes and a prime spot this evening.

I wish it was higher resolution so I could print it in a large format like a 3'x2'

I picked up my car from college from my parents over the weekend and will be jumping into work in the coming weeks. It hasn't been driven much in the past 10 years (like maybe 1,000 miles). Today I ordered a bunch of rubber bits to replace what's rotted (door handle gaskets, antenna and gasket, throttle cable grommet and bushings for the accelerator, brake pedal, and clutch pedal). It needs a new top and some upholstery work and I need to see if I can get the old nakamichi deck to work but I'll likely replace with a Bluetooth headunit. Hope to cross a bunch of projects off this winter but for now I'm just driving it as is until the snow starts.
