    CB350G already basically answered this but yes, fluid film or Krown creeps into the pivot and contact points making it a much better candidate for freeing an already sticky mechanism. Plus it rust proofs better. I find white lithium to be pretty lousy compared to other alternatives for most things. WD-40 is not a lubricant, but is great for freeing things up BEFORE applying a suitable lubricant.
