I started this thread a few days ago. I still have the wobble starting at 50-60kph up to 100-110kph. It wobbles when going straight, not when turning on a bend etc.

The wobble was not there prior me putting in the new brake pads. It wasn't like that before I replaced the pads. The wobble is not faint, it is quite noticeable and even makes me nauseous. My truck is not the smoothest ride anyway so for me to say that it must be bad. I eventually thought it was related to the seized calpier and perhaps a warped rotor etc. I've tried/did the following in this order:

    • retorqued wheels - didn't work
    • took off 1" spacers on the front and ran the wheels right on the hub - didn't work, replaced spacers.
    • put the old pads back - didn't work
    • this morning I had new calipers, rotors and those new brake pads installed. Wobble is still there
    • I figured it must be an unbalanced tire. Haul my winter rims out of storage and put all 4 on (left spacers on, given didn't make a difference earlier) -wobble is still there.

I am at a loss now as to what is causing this. Anyone have any suggestions?

Possibly a broken belt in one of the front tires.

Have you tried using hubcentric rings?

A broken belt would be noticeable at pretty much every speed.

It can't be a broke belt because I also tried my winter rims/tires and had the wobble.

I also took off the spacers as a test and it still wobbled.

After some research, I suspect its a ball joint. A symptom of a bad ball joint is wobbling at higher speeds when driving straight, but it goes away when turning. Given my alignment has never been perfect because of the lift, I suspect premature ball joint wear. Luckily I have Light Racing UCAs sitting in a box waiting to be installed. Hopefully that fixes it up. I'll have to get them installed sooner than later as I had previously planned.

Ball joints are on the LCA's too! :D Could be one of those.

    Yep.
This... if you have aftermarket wheels.

Otherwise I'd say a ball joint
