A compression test is very easy to do and it would rule some things out, bad compression is better than being stuck in limp mode and just parts cannoning the thing, a bad HG isn't to bad to change on a 2.7. Plus you can check for fuel in the cylinders in at the same time to rule that out as well.

Ik its not a headgasket because my oil is fine and ive had 0 overheating issues my oil didnt smell fuely either and losing compression overnight isnt likely besides worst comes to worst i just swap it sell the drivetrain and have more fun than the 2.7

these don't rule out bad compression, an it can absolutely happen over night. You should just do the test like I said its very easy to do, and they are all fine congrats you can say I told you so.

All the codes that the OP is getting are circuit codes, they don't have anything to do with engine mechanical. If we were dealing with a misfire or something like that then yes a compression test wouldn't be a bad idea.

Exactly what im saying a compression test would be a waste of time my engine isnt running bad and has no overheating issues aswell as all cylinders are firing because if i unplug each coil it changes tone equally just stuck in the limp mode so its something electronic not the engine itself

Aswell id like to add if i do decide to do a swap willing to sell my drivetrain lol 102k miles on everything you could probably just swap ur stuff onto mine and have a good runing truck if ur engine is blown or something

I would try to do some digging and see if you can determine that it’s secondary air injection pump related. From the sounds of the comments above with regards to the p1613, it sounds like that could be an issue and why you’re in limp mode.

If you are able to determine it’s SAI related, this might be a good option depending on where you’re located

The pump is designed to pump air into the exhaust on cold startup to warm the cats up faster. If you dont hear the pump kicking on when you first crank the truck up in the morning, then i think you're getting closer to figuring out the source of the problem

I do wonder because my heat shield is missing on my manifold i realised is it possible the pump has been heated too many times and completely pooped itself

Only when the pump is running (which should be on a cold start for 30-60 secs) but I doubt it's ever running since there is a code for the driver.
Have you checked power and ground at the Air Injection Control Driver?

The heavy gauge white wire should have constant battery power, the White/Black wire should have full time ground, and the Blue/White wire should have power with the key in the run position.

Here are the wiring diagrams, PCM pinouts, and Ground Locations for the 2.7L

Ok so the heavy gauge wire has 12.8 when KO when runnibg 14.2 so there is adequate power there, for the smaller plug im not getting readings on any wire except the r/g wire with KO and with it running nothing but 2.07 from the same r/g wire. If i try to measure power through the unit with the big harness plug in and the smaller gauge one unplugged there seems to be 0 power through the unit

You have nothing on the Blue/White wire (Pin 5) of the smaller connector with the key on?
