Still in limp mode after 6 months

Actually i didnt lol that would kind of make sense though, im gonna attempt to clear codes and possibly order the air pump delete stuff because i dont need the emmisions crap anyways

 

Is the engine misfiring in limp mode?

 

No its not ive checked that already

 

Do you have an exhaust header? No leaks?

 

No its factory manifold, not sure how that leaking would cause limp mode

 

You’ve replaced the valve cover and spark plug tube gaskets at some point?

 

No i havent but its all completely dry no oil in the tubes or outside the cover

 

A missing power feed explains all but the intake air temp sensor code (perhaps that one was set from disconnecting something while troubleshooting the other codes).
If you look at the diagram I posted of 2A the power feeds for the A/F Heater relay (P0031), O2 heater (P0037), MAF sensor (P0102), and Air Injection Control Driver (P1613) come through it from the EFI No2 fuse.
If there were also codes for the Purge VSV and EVAP pump I would more so suspect a problem on the wire from the fuse to 2A, but since those codes were not present I suspect the problem is in the junction at 2A itself.

 

I knew this idiot, once that squished the rubber vacuum line from the egr to intake resonator under the bracket that holds the intake resonator to the valve cover instead of over the bracket disabling its ability to function (kind of like me). Just something to check. Hope you figure this out, soon. Good luck

Alright im back and have ran the codes again and attempted to clear again, still in limp mode but some codes are gone. Now just showing P0102(Mass Airflow Circuit Low), P0113(Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input), P1613(Secondary Air Injection System Driver). Also on my data my air intake temp was stuck at -40 so id assume that means ny ait isnt working which is why im getting p0102 im going to order a new maf and order the Secondary Air driver because im pretty sure thats my issue. Id say now im no longer throwing parts at it since i was told on my scanner what parts where tripping but luckily 02 sensor codes are gone will update soon

 

Did you check if you still have power on the Blue/White wire (Pin 5) at the secondary air injection driver?
Also the Blue/White wire (Pin 1) at the MAF sensor.
You also need to check the ground on the Brown wire (Pin 5) of the MAF sensor.

 

Confirmed still have power and ground mafs are relatively inexpensive anyways

 

With the engine idling tap the mass airflow sensor lightly with the handle of a screwdriver and if the idle fluctuates the mass airflow is bad apparently. Don’t know if it’s true or not

 

They make a special MAF cleaner too. I’ve done it on my Mini Cooper and a Mercedes’. But speak to someone smarter first. Haha

 

Have you verified with a test light and not just a meter? I'm still not convinced the MAF and SAIS Driver is bad, the IAT sensors in them almost never fail.

 

Ill try that but that doesnt sound super trustworthy
