OP, put your truck on a diet. That’s an insane amount of stuff to carry and tow. You’re way over GVWR and probably rear GAWR. If you were to be involved in an accident, insurance would have a field day with you. Then you’d be taken to the cleaners again in civil court if one so chose to take that route against you. That’s not the answer most want to hear on a forum full of trucks over GVWR because of a ton of “expo” gear stuck on them...but it is a cold reality if you’re involved in an accident that brings out the lawyers.

A Tundra would get wrecked in a heartbeat on many technical east coast trails. Too much mud and trees to survive without body damage.

No joke in a personal vehicle either. I was under plated for my F250 pulling the Tacoma on my trailer and got popped for a $500 ticket in Illinois where your fine is based on a per pound basis. Roughly 50 cents a pound once you factor in court and filing fees no matter if you’re over plated limit, GVWR or GAWR.

Forget the sagging. How much longer will his rear axle bearings last? I can't imagine what they must look like at this point. When they fail it won't be pretty.

In the squeaky Dakar thread, Oz suggests using some peices of pond liner.

Because the airbags aren't meant to be used with cradles. You're basically just reducing the space they have to compress.

The OP has flattened out a Dakar leaf pack AND bent the mounting brackets on the air bag set up. I haven't been here that long but I haven't seen a post like this before. I guess time will tell. I hope he's one of the lucky ones.

My coleman cooler, sleeping bag, and tent make my rear sag on stock 3-leaf with Deaver AAL. Don't see me making a thread about my fat ass though....

Serious. You're overweight, and I wheel with a lot of fatties. Who take a shit-ton less gear than you. Sketchy af wheeling Red River watching the guy who had the Habitat, couldn't imagine what it was like to be driving that truck there!
