Been investing in liquor here and there. My brother works at a fairly large liquor store and lets me know when they get rare stuff or a certain bottle are flying off the shelves and things like that. Lately i've only been buying Macallan Edition No. 6 and No. 2. Never actually drank any but gets great reviews, lots of people call it a sleeper or say buy one to drink and one to save. The kicker is they're a stupid good investment lately. They make a relatively limited amount and only send like 10 max to big stores. Sell at $140-200 ish depending on location but for some reason always go up to like 1-2 grand within a year of stopping production or when the next years are released. My brother let me know when they first got them so i grabbed a few and if i wanted could have sold them that day for like $30 profit on ebay because all the city stores mark them up like $50. Only issue is they can be weird to find time and location wise

Just saw an article about the GOVT wanting to cut down the amount of nicotine allowed in cigs. Tobacco stucks tumbled on the news. WTF?

Follow my logic here. You cut the amount of nicotine in 1/2. That means people smoke twice as much. This is a good thing. Sure, they might have to dumb down their tobacco crop to lower the nicotine content but Mendel has already proven that's doable. Plus a little gene splicing will make it a super fast process. I might get back in on MO.

Nah, the body gets used to the nicotine at the lower level and adjusts pretty rapidly. A lot of smoking, aside from the nicotine is just force of habit. Do "X" have cigarette. I'm certainly not an expert in this, but I read a while ago a pretty reasonable paper that described that lowering nicotine content in tobacco doesn't have much of an overall effect on consumption.
