It took me until my early 30's before I made the connection that the word "awry", when written is pronounced "a-rye" and not "awree". Like I knew what the word meant and when I said it out loud I always said it correctly. Quite embarrassing given my background, but meh.

I took a 400 level linguistics course in college as an elective for my major. I figured it would be like history of languages type shit. Oh no. Oh god no. Sentence diagramming, grammar down to the Latin and Greek roots, grammatical syntax. I've tried so hard to block that class from my brain. You think calculus is hard? Try figuring out why English is the way it is (spoiler, nobody can actually really tell you why!)

 

You PC game at all? Buy Valheim. It's the best $20 you'll ever spend and it's still only in early access.

I am wanting to make the jump back to PC but I need to do it via the form of a laptop
And I also need said rig to be BAMF at solid works
