A letter from the buyer helped us pick who we sold to... that and his offer being $12k over the next offer, haha

    enough to have fun
our realtor asked us to write a letter that included things like "newly married" and "this house will be the house we raise our family in" blah blah blah. We'll see if we ever actually get to use that sappy letter lol.

I'm hoping for the latter for 2021

That’s what ours said. We had been married for a little over a year at that point but my wife was 7mo pregnant when we were in the market so that little tidbit really pulled at the heart strings of the sellers

Myself and a friend bought a house last august, in one of most expensive and economically out of whack places in the country. I think we got the last "multi unit" for under Its treating us very very well, but its such an outlier place i dont even know if its relevant to compare to almost anywhere else. currently, there are ZERO, zilch, nada, single family homes/townhomes for under 1.5m on the open market. At the 1.5m price there is one. Next cheapest is 2m lol, according to zillow

I would feel like an idiot if i nuked my whole portfolio to cash and went "ok, ill just sit around and wait for a massive depression" and it didnt happen lol.

Doing Eels? E-Os? idr the name but the crawls for combatatives where you kick out your leg and slide along your side. Felt a sharp pain one day doing those and was unable to stand for a while. Another member of my unit had just got diagnosis with a hip fracture so I decided to get checked out. They didn't know what it was, just told me the head of my femur was much higher in the socket than it should be compared to normal hip joints. Put me on a walk-to-run program that I was supposed to do every day until the pain went away. It didn't, and I didn't want to get stuck in limbo like a bunch of other people there on base, one of which had been there for years stuck in medical limbo. So I told them I'm good to go so I could finish training. Well that didn't go to plan when my PT scores started slipping and I failed my final APFT. At this point I'm like well I fked myself so I just gotta deal with it, went to PTU (physical training unit) to try to get my scores back up but they just steadily declined and then my trainers told me I'm a POS that isn't trying and sent me to RTU with a failure to conform to APF standards. General discharge later. I dealt with it thinking 'well I didn't graduate basic so I'm not a real soldier so I don't get benefits' and just lived my life in pain, avoiding the doctor because insurance sucked. Fast forward to 2017 and I'm fed up with it and tell my doctor about it, she just says 'here, have some naproxen' and never looked beyond that. So I gave up. Fast forward to this year and I get a new supervisor at work and he's former military and tells me about the VSO after my hip does its thing and slides out and I report it to medical. So here I am, working to correct the issue so I don't have to live like this anymore. I'm sure I'll need both hips and at least one knee replaced by the time I hit retirement age... Turning 30 this year and feel like I'm at least twice that. That's my story. I felt cheated out of my ability to serve by a faulty body. Fortunately I get to serve in my own way in a civilian position working for the gov. By technicality I'm a veteran, ANG defines it as anyone whos active for 90 days or whatever, but I don't feel like one. I didn't do anything. My recruiter calls me one because he says I had the balls to enlist in wartime. I don't want to be thanked, there are far more veterans out there that deserve it more, especially the ones who didn't make it home.

Been away from the computer all day so I didn't get to watch the stocks.

I also received an email from Jeff and he said that he is starting to receive request from fidelity for transfers, but he had not received mine. He said they seem to be doing it in batches and he would notify me once they get mine.

I think it’s time for all hell to break lose. GME didn’t go down overall the past 3 days. On top of that I look out the window and there’s water coming out of the sky. I don’t think that’s supposed to happen in Phoenix.

Honestly at this point I don't think my heart could take it if GME actually did the thing.
