Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

I have this weird feeling in my gut that tomorrow is going to be another bloodbath. Can't put my finger on why, and I hope I'm wrong, but it just feels like another red day.

I think that by the end of the year we're going to be in another March like slump. Which is fine by me, I've got cash waiting and ready to go. Just don't like watching it go down.

 

What platforms are y’all using, if any? I’m thinking of switching to E-Trade since they offer ETF and option trading.

 

Schwab for most of my money. My schwab account is managed mutual funds. I just deposit cash and don't touch it. Edleman Financial Engines manages it.

Wells Fargo for my play account (just because it's tied to the rest of my banking - super easy to move money around, but I don't recommend it. It doesn't have as many features as other brokerages) and lastly I use Robinhood for options trading.

I will likely start moving money into Robinhood from WF as I sell things.

 

80% of the time I use Fidelity. Really I've used most of all the big names, and Fidelity is the best combo IMHO

 

I use E-Trade. It's a great platform.

 

E-trade for play and TD Ameritrade for retirement. E trade is awesome and I plan on moving my retirement over soon.

Yep. Got to love it when UPS beats earnings and drops 5%. And how about that VIX? lol

 

Its been a bloodbath recently for companies after earnings, even if they beat estimates (I think you mentioned that awhile back in the *other* thread). A big part has to be the lack of guidance

 

I'm sure lack of guidance plays a part. I think it's mainly valuations are so high that beating by 10-15% just isn't enough. Add in election and Covid volatility and it's a perfect storm.

 

Except UPS put out platinum guidance...everything looking great. They should be buying back stock today...
