it was worth $2k yesterday, and I sold for a measly $830 or something.

that same call will be much cheaper even if the stock stays the same tomorrow as theta was -1.9!

 

It's ~7% shares added which theoretically should drop the price of the stock ~7%
Theoretically, companies are supposed to make money though too so.....
It means the stock could go up, it could go down, and it could trade sideways.
