My Wife works for chase. Had this conversation with her a few months back when these hiring orders started making it down to her branch. She was told to hire any of those categories over a white individual even if they were less qualified for the position.

preferred shares typically get higher yield and any dividends are usually secured first before common stock. i.e. common stock divys get cut first.

I love that all the new "Squeeze imminent" stocks come with clearly defined checklists. For the past 6 months every ticker with a put option against it is now ripe for a short squeeze. Amazing how that happened all of a sudden! And not a single one of them (GME included) have squeezled yet lol

TRCH is cheap enough I could probably FOMO some bucks into that tomorrow.
