Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

Has anyone that’s used RH in the past seen their lifetime chart not add up after withdrawing profits? I’m using RH for options for now and after I took out profits plus initial investment from an options sale, it shows that I took that whole lump sum from my investment money as if it wasn’t counting the profits.

RH has a weird way of calculating profits...if it's cash, it doesn't count towards P/L...it only uses money invested to determine P/L, while your account total will reflect P/L+cash...

not sure i totally understand your situation...but i've had instances when i was confused as to how they were calculating my profits.

So I had a total lifetime investment basis of $5,978. I then sold a STZ call that had an initial cost basis of $390. I sold it for $700. Then I withdrew the $700 to my bank account. Now my lifetime chart says I’ve invested $5,278, as if that whole $700 was taken from my initial invested amount and didn’t account for any profits.

 

Despite a pretty big drop in share price, my Aug $5 calls haven't taken a hit

 

might need time to settle...but yea, basically..if you took money out, it's gonna deduct that from your total.
the 700 is cost basis + profits...so you took it all out.
that money is 'gone' as far as RH is concerned.

 

That’s dumb and doesn’t add up how it should.

 

Just not sure how many things RH needs to do, and people still don't transfer....

Picked a 8/20 $680c earlier today.

My thought process:

• Next ER should fall in September, so hopefully they'll be a runup like before the last ER.
• 7/14 is the next goalpost with the NFT announcements
• Today, ALL of GameStop's social media logos were changed and they mentioned that there are some upcoming announcements.
• I'm only buying deep OTM calls with GME after long periods of "lull" as that's worked out for me, and the only time I strayed from that I lost.
• You really only need to have one call open on GME when MOASS hits to make stupid ROI (this is what my main goal has been)
• EW guy had SPY about where it is now before chaos ensued, so I figured maybe it's now or never to yolo into this one.

We'll see how this one goes.

 

If it hits $900/share that $20k payday looks nice.

 

Yeah that's what I'm thinking with these.

My best call was a 4/16 $800c I snagged for $64 bucks. sold at around $7k.

I REALLY want to beat that one.

 

They're doing this to get you to keep your gains in your account so the screen looks nicer..
Also...They want you to buy more stock...and if they jump in the middle and create a faux short position AND use your cash for leverage....
