I'm okay with infrastructure, just further cementing this as a good play in the long run and not just a squeeze play

 

I'm only looking for a squeeze play. I don't see Gamestop being a $500 company

I think it's worth more than that if they create a used game digital marketplace using NFTs and keep expanding their offerings. They are also into esports, which is a huge market as well. Time will tell, but they have a plan and the leadership is top notch. Not to mention they have a small amount of shares outstanding when compared to other companies in this space.

And with my cost basis being low I'm holding my shares for the long haul (if MOASS never happens due to crime).

 

I'm not denying that they don't have a wayyy better setup and leadership than before. However, they still have a whole lot of work to do to keep a float in a digital world right now. We'll see how they do. However, I'm not sold on buying Gamestop at a $200 price point or even $100 price point for now for them to just be "Gamestop"

 

RC turned CHWY with 10s of Millions to 3B... I can't wait to see what he can do with ~2B

 

They undeniably have a lot of work to do, but ZERO debt and 2 billion cash in the war chest seems like they're teed up to do some awesome stuff. Not to mention the ACTUAL float is owned several times over by retail. Also, I'm leveraging my experience using Chewy which has been fantastic. A customer fanatical company for the electronics and nerdy stuff universe will crush. They've already has things like same day shipping for a while now leveraging their network of stores and DoorDash.

I guess time will tell. I wish we had a !RemindMe! bot so we can see how this post ages.

Again, i'm not denying that they're in way better shape. I'm just saying the whole tone of GME has changed now to "How i feel my share amount and price is still a good buy" Over, "We're going to the moon!"

 

Exactly. While I'm sad my local PetValue shut down due to online sales of pet supplies, I absolutely love being a Chewy Customer. I've always had a fantastic experience with customer service and their prices and fast shipping can't be beat.
