I think I'm going to try and sell my bike pretty soon here since its worth more now than it ever will be again. Once spring rolls around hopefully by then I can actually get my hands on a Transition Sentinel.

    Manifold is cracked..
That's not something I can do in the driveway on a 200,000 mile truck with rust everywhere...I KNOW bolts will snap...nuts will round...
I should start putting courtesy PB blaster on them now for whoever ends up getting the work

When I bought my RAM pickup, I was going to pay cash, and they weren't super into doing any discounts. The salesman mentioned that if I was open to financing they might have some wiggle room (at the time the rate was something like 4%). I asked to see the contract, read it thoroughly, and agreed. Got some money knocked off the price of the truck and a couple other little freebies thrown in.

Got the first statement in the mail, wrote a check for the entire balance and paid off the truck right then and there.

No prepayment penalties in the contract ;)

yea...i'm getting a pretty fat payout from insurance so that means an upgrade.
although on the theme of suck...the insurance company low balled the shit out of the original replacement estimate and it took a week of me calling them to get it sorted out.

Since my Tacoma is poop I’ve been driving a 2015 Silverado I purchased with a navy fed loan late October of 2020
And it’s almost at 100k miles and needs a full top half rebuild to delete the DOD system before it turns into a bomb

all trucks are designed to fail now

I did my manifold in my garage on my 96 and some how got lucky that I was able to get it off. I figured if I get it off, sweet, I save some money. If I fuck it up, shit was going to be seized and get stripped and cut anyway, then someone else can deal with it

If he's hood dumping it he might as well slap a massive turbo on there like a 90's civic drag build. Up-pipe straight out the hood. Let the Japanese 4 cylinder scream.
