Yep. With them getting the spif from the lender, they can pass some of that along.

So even when ya have full cash for the truck, you'll often get a better deal by financing and paying it off.

    This is gold.

I feel like I heard that about $200 a few months ago.

The only downside is that your credit score should be helped by holding the loan for 12 months. At least that is what I have heard/read. So I try to wait 12 months before paying off a loan like that because it "shows that you are responsible with your money and can manage a loan of that size." :jerkoff:

I don't recall noticing any effect on my credit score when I did that with my funcar three years ago.

Though I also have a lengthy good credit history, so maybe it has more noticeable an effect with shorter histories.

Also gotta consider whether you can make more money keeping the cash invested vs early loan payoff.

Brian. Treefortrichard was my gaming name for 20 years. It came from a radio show bit. my bf2 clan was comprised of show fans. we also played DOD and CS source. We even use to do online competition games through some company I can’t even remember now. We were not that good but we had fun.
we had a 24/7 Jalalabad BF2 server that was in the top 20 all the time. The server name derivatives lived through BF4. For a WHILE the BF2 server was #1
All I will say is the abbreviation of the servers was RRHOA and eventually the name itself was banned. I think I still have the server splash logo somewhere.

Probably accurate. I have a good score, I also know that length of time since your last loan goes into the calculation. So if I can get a loan with a very low interest rate, I can put that money into something like the market and hopefully earn more interest than I am paying on the loan. Then pay it off after the 12 months and have earned more and get the credit score improvement.

Of course, if you can make more in the market, why pay it off early at all? (to me, the uncertainty and reduction of monthly expense)

    @kairo answered this perfectly :)

For me, I'm getting busier and busier and have less time to respond on here, good or bad. I've posted about some 5 digit loss days though and my T+21 call that lost me some coin too. I don't mind commenting on the real bad days lol

    FIFY

At $100 I'd finally be able to average down a little bit.

That's when I liquidated everything else in my portfolio for $GME. Still my dumbest and best decision to date lol

My only regret is I didn't buy more.

This, I haven't given up a single share because A) only buy what you can lose / forget about and B) I don't want any of my shares going to anyone to cover their shorts. This is the best way to get to a MOASS event, buy and hold. OBV shows that retail is doing that.

:fingerscrossed: for my 8/20 $680c lol

Yup! Supply and demand. Being a bike / bike parts hoarder has funded some GME shares. as well as a new bike lol

Did you sell out of your position entirely?! Keep one juuuuuust in case lol

Personally I keep a "car payment" in the monthly budget even after any loan is paid off.

The money goes into savings/investment and is used for maintenance/repairs, then eventually goes towards the next vehicle purchase.

Good. I want you to be wealthy after MOASS :D

hahaha true. It's only a loss if you sell too. That's why I didn't in February when I was down more percent than I cared for at the time. Averaging down was the luckiest strategy at $40 lol

So 250k shares borrowed, I'm expecting SHF to try to get the price down as much as they can before 7/14.
