I just gathered up my 2 medium spinning rods(6,6), 1 medium heavy casting(6,6) and 1 medium casting(7f) and got them all set and ready to go out to the same pond. Since I didnt have any luck with my ultralight and light rods in the pond, Ill stick to the bigger ones when I go there.

Had you been pulled over, "civil forfeiture" would probably have been the outcome. Get your money confiscated, even if you're never charged with a crime. Pretty nice side hustle for the .govs.

There is honestly nothing worse than going fishing and realizing you have underweight gear. I do the same when I go new places. I bring a variety of options. Break a line on me once fish, I've got bigger stuff to haul you in with.

Until the company I worked for sued the state because everything was legal and documented. I wasn't doing anything shady lol

There are definitely laws that protect you being able to carry a weapon and cash for the sake of the business

I worked security for a MJ company for a while and obviously that’s ALL cash
And I carried a shotgun in addition to wearing a plate carrier since they would target the money vehicles a lot after leaving the pick up spot

Edit: I was skimming the post and I’m not quite sure where the start of the convo on transporting started so feel free to correct me

I used to pick up wads of cash selling material handling equipment to weed operations since they couldn't write checks

With hands on the wheel “officer I have a permit to carry concealed I have my weapon on me and safety is on. I present no danger to you however I will exit the vehicle at your discretion so you may secure the pistol. I just wanted to make you aware. “ Basically textbook how you want to handle that

Funny you say that, out of the 3 rods I took with me, 2 of them I use for trout. The other rod was my whatever giant wants to bite rod.

Well when the stock market is down I like to prepare a meal that gets me up. This friggin beautiful jambalaya. Andouille sausage and shrimp. I threw in carrots, sliced on a bias green onions, garlic cajun bell peppers from the garden, red pepper, green pepper, shrimp all over a 45 minute simmer to long grain wild rice. paired this with a fantastic Pinot Grigio also used to simmer the veggies.
Now I’m watching stupid fast and the furious 2... you know just because.

Yup. I've been pulled over a few times while carrying; when the officer arrives one of my hands is on the wheel and the other goes there after handing him my DL and CCP. "So you are aware, I have a firearm located (not publicly disclosed) in my vehicle." Responses has ranged from "cool." to having a second officer come watch me while the first runs the paperwork.
