this was from a couple months ago...the thing ran up to 100 bucks in day + AH from like 20 bucks

Bought 200 shares and set a 4% trailing stop when it was up $1.50

Bought WISA and sold 5 mins later for a quick 12%. Got impatient on NURO. Not dipping fast enough for me. I want to go back to sleep. I should be taking more 12% trades but it gets. So tempting to gamble. Ok I sleep now.

 

I PREFER options for day trades because now that's $4K I can't play with until Monday...Maybe it's for my own good!

Not that patterns exist or past performance or anything...Buuuut....

 

In for 20 at market. Set order for 20 more at 2.45 20 at 2.35. And I’ll prob get impatient and buy 20 more in a few minutes.

 

Take $270 and buy 1 SNAP $63 call.

But buying a $2.50 call for $60 means the shares go to $3.10 to be even...for $60 you can have 24 shares...and 24 shares at $3.10 is $74.40....That's a 25% return. To get a 25% return on your $60 call premium you need the shares to hit $3.25, and then at $3.25 your 24 shares are now worth $78...you need the share price to break about $3.40 for the call option to be a better investment than straight shares...
Very deceptive premiums...

Is that a confusing way of making me feel better I bought this in my real account since I have more than 60 bucks total available? Either way I like the setup and think it’s a good entry. I will set a SL around 2.25 in case it breaks below that support level. Next one down is 1.2x area as far as I can tell.
