Just sold my INTC puts at $315. 37% gain. Picked up a COST $425 7/30c and a RIOT $27 7/30p.

 

Still sitting on 1 RIOT $25C for 7/30 I picked up Tuesday. It’s more than paid for by the 2 I sold. Hoping for one more little run to around 30

Haha I never thought about looking into it. I just see the numbers at my work on sales of the 4-5 different ones we sell at Costco and they aren’t the same they were from 2017-2020. Even last summer it looked to be slowing down.

 

Is Kirkland vodka actually the same as grey goose. Tik tok claims it is. You should put the tik tok kids in their place if is not.

 

That was a rumor back when I was a kid, so I choose to believe.

Yea it is. Distilled in the same distillery. KS does that with a lot of products. Just pays to put their name on it.

 

Speaking generally, it's not uncommon for store brands to contract production runs on name-brand production facilities.

The "quality" of the product produced may or may not meet the same standards as the name brand. Depends on the specifics of the arrangement.

True. Everyone within the company says it’s the same. Same address on both bottles of the distillery, same on a quality and taste test. Just going by what I’ve always been told.

 

Anyone playing the AAPL earning game for next week? Supposed to have yet another huge quarter. Will we see a new ATH?

 

It may well be. I'm not a vodka guy, so I've not had either GreyGoose or the Kirkland equivalent. I've had their premix margarita and it was decent, but generally don't shop for liquor at Costco. (GA limits companies to a maximum of two liquor stores, and the two Costco's selling liquor aren't terribly convenient to get to)

My point was really just that folks can't assume same production facility necessarily means same end product. It might be, or it might not be. Sounds like in this case it is, or is so close as to not matter.

Side note - in many (if not most) states you don't need a membership to buy at Costco (or Sam's) liquor stores.

 

35 percent of my portfolio plays every earnings lol. Might play the run up with a call in my play account. I would be happy with a report like Snap had.

also someone asked about snap dying: it’s not. Almost everyone my age uses it. Many use it as primary means of communication. They were up 5% in daily users from last quarter. It is annoying because it used to be a more casual platform now but a lot of people my age make a big deal out of using it and any posts on their “story” is a whole production. Kind of like your stereotypical high school girl caring a whole lot over an Instagram post, well now they care about their Snapchat stories just as much.

Interesting how the use of the app has changed. I for one just have it for groupchats with friends.
