Same here, although my interest is mostly historical.

My parents lost their home in 2008, it killed their marriage. It wasn't great to begin with, but they might have worked through it without the financial strain.

Fuck 'em to death. I wish was smarter (or at least lucky enough to be earlier) about this stuff, I would love to buy my mom the house she lost.

 

If you could negotiate a deal where everyone gives up their shares for only 1,000/share, I’m sure the shorts would buy her whatever house she wants

 

If it were up to me there would be no short selling, no options, no futures. You either buy the damned stock or you don’t. Save the gambling for Texas Holdem, Wall Street and the hedge funds run a racket.

 

My mom would rather watch them burn than have a house, to be honest. She doesn't know much, if anything about this, (and she hates any kind of stress/confrontation) but if I explained it to her she'd be all 'Yes, die trash' from the sidelines.

I’m not reading all 30 pages I’m behind on. Robinhood opened trading on all the stocks from this morning so I have one question lol. Do I sell my 1000 or so dollars in nio and invest it all into GameStop on a dip? I’m already loosing my ass on NOK. What’s the worst lol.

RH is only allowing limited buys tomorrow. It's not fully open

 

I believe they're planning on targeting AMC a little more tomorrow. We need it to close above $9

 

I can get a hell of a lot more shares of amc. My understanding is that as long as it’s over 9 dollars by market close tomorrow, the benefits will come Monday correct?

 

General consensus is up, or down. No advice from me. You won’t be the only loser if it fails. Would you feel worse buying in and losing? Or not buying in and seeing everyone else winning? It’s all about how you process that

 

I feel bad either way hahaha I can sell just enough to be on market money and go from there haha. And keep my initial investment
