When I my first real job after college they matched 25% of the first 10% 401k so my dad said "Well, put 10% in" and I was like "WHAT?" but he was right...I did that and now I'm at like 16% or something...You never miss it if it's never in the paycheck

 

Absolutely stoked with the night. Ordered my season pass for the Mountains in Tahoe this winter. And hit two plates on each side squat for the first time in 2 years since shattering my kneecap and tearing acl+mcl. 3 surgeries later and a lot of scar tissue and I'm almost back where I was. Still can't run for more than 20 yards at a time though...

Also I'm looking at what I'll put this years roth contributions into. Other than SPHD do you guys have any high dividend funds/etfs yall are in? I'm gonna split this years contributions and go half in VTI (shoutout @GarlicFarts) and I'm thinking SPHD for the other half, but wondering if theres other high dividend funds/etfs that im not thinking about.

 

So Novonix ($NVNXF) is supposedly working with tesla on battery technology and they've got methods of production for anode and cathode materials that reduces waste immensely compared to normal methods. They also have some pretty top of the line Graphite technology. I'm tempted to buy a couple hundred shares and see what's up with it about 2 years from now. Definitely not one thats gonna go 20% in a year kind of thing. Similar hold to LIACF.

I've got some kind of a meniscus thing going on but it's transient...I haven't run more than 100 yards in a year...I use to do 3 miles a day 3+ times a week..Now it's elliptical every day but no real pain. Just a minor echo reminding me something is there...I don't dare ski anymore...

Me too. I'm also waiting for the ALT5 merger and an actual binding merger with SuperGreen. Then they can announce that they will be mining bitcoin and running the world's only crypto exchange that uses almost no energy with SuperGreens new 99.9% efficiency perpetual energy machines.

Soccer. Snowboarding is fine since your legs are both connected and sharing the pressure at all times. Mountain biking is the preferred cardio but it’s hit or miss if there’s pain or not. Going downhill is just fine though lol.


Good thing downhill is the fun part and North Star will be a quick 45 mins from my apartment
