Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

I want to add to my 275 shares but I don’t want to average up and I’m at $1.55 cost basis.

 

Plenty of time for the rat race to destroy your will to live after college.

Only benefit of "working your way through college" (those days are LONG gone) might be that the debt isn't accruing interest at that point, meaning it could be chipped away at faster. Someone who actually did a coledge might want to chime in on that though.

 

So im actually in a super nice spot, between parents assistance, money I saved and scholarships, I won't need to take out any loans. If loans were needed I honestly don't know If I'd be going to a 4 year. I want to get out of the rat race as fast as possible though. I do want to get into some real estate stuff but thats a few years down the road I think. I'll definitely want some kind of mentor to get started in that area though.

 

I worked all the way through college, but nothing crazy. Bartended, delivered pizzas, a few work-study programs. It helped give me beer/party money and keep my debt down, since I was responsible for all my costs it supplemented my student loans. I'd suggest something light that doesn't eat into all of your free time, college really is unlike any time in your life, enjoy it as much as you can!

not sure what your work experience is, but i wouldnt do anything that paid under 20/hr or so. At that point its not worth your time if you dont need to.

 

What I'm looking at picking up

 

I was a waiter on a weekend job Fridays and Sat nights...Drove home every friday afternoon and back every sunday night.
Summers I was a lifeguard...
I made enough to graduate with less than $20K debt and paid it off withing 4 years of graduating and bought a car Cash.
Yup those days are gone.
Unless you can get $1,000 a weekend in tips...

So interesting that basically everything about roku earnings report was good. Revenue up, earnings up, subscriptions up...and what a surprise, total streaming hours per user went down as people returned to work...
