Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

They sold my GME IOU's for me last week and put real money in my account after the sale. I'm sure it'll be the same with GTii. lol

 

Imagine the irony of having to sell your shares in your IRA to have free cash to exercise the warrants because you don’t have enough free cash to exercise the Warrants

 

By then I'll have sold a bunch of shit. Plus, I've only got 200 warrants. At my age, if you can't scrounge up $550 in your IRA, you're pretty much fucked. lol

 

Here vouching for PLTR leaps in honor of @kairo

Last time PLTR daily MACD crossed from red to green it went from 18-27 in less than 2 months. PLTR also has earnings next Thursday and like @theesotericone had pointed out, Tuesday Thursday earnings tend to do well.

there’s also this chart where it has just peeped over the first resistance trend line.

Big money also sold out of their puts over the past 2 days.

 

sooooo...i may have followed @TreeFortRichard on some high priced leaps for PLTR...i'm hoping it does start moving up and i can sell those.

the main thing that's written about PLTR by 'analysts' is that they don't get what it does differently and seems to be over valued.
It's basically data mining/algos which is the future...are they unique? doubtful. However, they seem to have some pretty significant gov't contracts. So that's a plus.
My personal take is that it's basically a money sluice/slush fund for Thiel and his cohorts. My other take is that he was probably hoping the prev prez won so he could milk the shit out of his connections there. Will he get more gov't contracts? probably, since they're already in the mix.

I do not 100% trust the company to really give a shit about its investors, and it's more about filling their own pockets. That doesn't mean i won't trade it, but i mostly just want to get rid of my calls.
(full disclosure: I think thiel is a POS).

i've got 40 dollar strike price, jan 22 i believe...
that was when it seems like the stock would actually hit that...
but then sentiment soured (part of the QQQ drop) and then they authorized a bunch of new stock...so the price tanked.

SO I bought in at avg $11...
and It's worked out nicely...

 

I have the JAN 2023 $25 calls...
and i have shares at $11...
I wouldn't go higher than $25 based on a $500 price meaning over $30 by then is $$$$

In reading about $PLTR it's one of those companies that troops on the ground and people in command of missions said they LOVED the intel from $PLTR and their algos...

 

yea, seems like they deliver a good product...so also a plus...
there was a r/wsb's post that had some 'insider'/former employee posting how awesome they are...
grain of salt.

A black box think tank that has ties to wet work goes public and your skeptical? What could possibly go wrong? lol

 

So here's the thing with that...
Let's say you buy a $55 4 calls for $153 or $612...
Break even is $56.53....So To make $100/call you need the stock to go to $57.53 and you clear $400...
OR Take $535 and buy 1 $25 call...and NOW if the stock goes to $30.35 you break even....
To make $600 the stock has to go to $36.35...
and if the stock goes to the BREAK EVEN for the 4 $55 calls, $56.53 you've made $2,600 off the SAME investment...
for real,
1 in the money always beats several leaps...especially when 1 in the money (or close) = <5 leaps...

one thing i like to say....some lessons are more expensive than others...so yea..

at the time, it seemed like 40 was an easy price target...so i was playing delta and IV essentially...but i'm still solidifying my options strategies...so yea,,,fine tuning based on the above.
